We’re all going to have our own opinions on this topic. If we’re referring specifically to the now infamous January 6th speech, I can see both sides. However, my opinion doesn’t matter. President Trump has been impeached again. Thus, the Senate will have to vote on his innocence or guilt. What matters is what Republican Senators think. Hence, I would like to ask Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio what they think. Does President Trump incite violence?
Ted Cruz weighs in.
“I think a campaign bears responsibility for creating an environment. When a candidate urges supporters to engage in physical violence, to punch people in the face, the predictable consequence of that is that it escalates.”Tec Cruz in 2015
Excellent. So Ted Cruz is aware that President Trump incites violence. I’m sure we can rely on a guilty vote from him. There’s no way Ted Cruz would be a complete fraud, correct? But what about Marco Rubio?
Did President Trump incite violence in Senator Rubio’s opinion?
Senator McConnell is open to impeachment. Moreover, he has delayed the vote until the next session. Hence, it should be fairly easy to get a conviction here. Unless, of course, you think Senators like Cruz and Rubio are complete frauds who will land wherever the political winds blow them. I guess time will tell.
